This guidance provides a framework for commissioners, providers and stakeholders to implement best practices that promote fairness, dignity and accessibility. It aligns with the Equality Act 2010, the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation to uphold the rights of all individuals, particularly those who experience barriers to care due to organisational inaction, race, disability, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion or socioeconomic status.
