About Markets and Workforce Network

Welcome to the Markets and Workforce (Regional subgroup of Markets and Commissioning Network)

This group developed the regional workforce strategy including priorities for forward action which was approved by Local Authorities (LA)s and ADASS East Branch in October 2020. Its implementation is in progress across care and health in tandem with market development work. We have identified six regional priorities for action which comprise, career pathways, skills and values, social care branding, parity of esteem, wellbeing equity and diversity and recruitment and retention.

Current work in progress includes, mapping existing activity across health and care to ensure synergy, developing priorities for action and establishing a framework for health and care collaborative working through the Regional and Local People Boards.
